An enhanced compact design is combined with an innovative X-Mag alloy frame and C6 carbon sideplates for lightweight yet durable performance. A unique Infinitely Variable Centrifugal Brake (IVCB-IV) system has 28 external adjustment positions, which allows remarkably detailed fine-tuning on the water without having to remove the sideplate, as well as casting lightweight baits.
The IVCB-IV Infinitely variable centrifugal brake system provides precise brake adjustments, allowing anglers to easily cast a wide variety of baits.
Compact Design
Due to this reel being much more compact and ergonomic than most other reels on the market currently, Abu Garcia has created a new set of gear ratios to provide similar line retrieve rates as other REVOlution reels. For instance, the Revo MGX's 7.1:1 gear ratio provides similar inches per turn to other, standard 6.4:1 Revo models.
