The construction design keeps the gears aligned for worry-free, long-lasting performance. The most distinctive feature of the Thunnus is it's patented baitrunner feature that acts as a secondary drag system. This feature allows an angler to feed out line in a tension-controlled free-spool with the bail closed allowing for a more easy setting of the hook and proves to be one of the best systems to fish live bait. Other features of the Thunnus include a waterproof drag system to keep out saltwater and debris; precision cut gears to provide a smooth and powerful retrieve; a one way roller bearing to provide zero handle back-play and a ball bearing line roller coated with titanium for increased smoothness and reduced line twist.
